| Artist....illustrator, I guess. The "artist" part may refer to the stuff I do when the illustration jobs dry up. I do a lot of children's books but mostly they are of the mundane kind. If you go to the dentist and get a comic on how to brush your teeth...yeah that's me. Not saying I have not done cooler things I had a couple of books produced by National Geographic: Hiawatha and Megissogwon & Midnight Ride of Paul Revere ...but the really neat jobs are 1 in 30. I do a good deal of Microstock work: Xochicalco I also keep a Zazzle Store: Xochicalco's Ruin I like to travel. I like cities. I like civilizations in ruins. I love vintage design and the term Raygun Gothic to describe my interior design style. Radios, cameras...typewriters. Mid-century debris. I am shy...a bit aloof. Friendly essentially. I love to wander and to tinker with things. Left wing Scandinavian style socialist. Sadly well read and yet a still somewhat independent slacker with very strong work ethic. I drink pots of tea. I guess I exist in the cultural art strata of Baltimore with the musicians and writers. My semi -feral cat treats me like prey after sunset. |
